Youth League Management (YLM) is an online management solution designed to assist the many volunteers who run youth sports organizations and to simplify communications for the parents whose children participate in them. There are a lot of team and league websites that provide good information yet still require registrations to be printed, filled out and handed in with a check. This requires the parents' time, especially filling out multiple registrations season after season, year after year. Board members then have to sit at a given location to accept the paper registrations and record check payments. YLM has online registration that securely stores the parents' and children's information while accepting payment by credit card or check.

There are also services dedicated to accepting online registrations for an organization but these services are not integrated with the organization's website. The YLM system utilizes the registration information to allow the organization administrators to send emails, assign a child to a team and run reports for the coaches, directors or treasurer. With a secure home page for the parent, they can see all of their children's practice and game schedules, as well as update their contact information in case of a change mid-season.

For organizations that still want to accept paper registrations, YLM allows administrators to enter information into the system for the parents. Once in the system, the information can be used as if the parent entered it themselves.

ONE PROFILE; MULTIPLE ORGANIZATIONS! YLM believes no other solution can offer parents and administrators the ability to have a single profile that can be part of multiple organizations, whether these organizations are in the same town or not. As long as an organization uses YLM, a parent can use their single profile to register their child. In addition to having a single profile, a parent can have different roles inside each of these organizations. A person may be a parent in one organization, a division coordinator in another and even the organization administrator in a third. YLM is a COMPLETE system!

Communication

One of the most difficult parts of running a youth organization is communication. The large number of volunteers involved in operating an organization makes it very difficult to provide consistent information to all of the parents, coaches and coordinators. YLM is an online solution providing a single point of communication that is available 24/7 and can be updated by an administrator instantly.

YLM offers each organization the ability to send emails to groups of parents, division coordinators, board members, coaches and even the whole organization simply based on the information provided during registration. This way if a parent updates their email mid-season, they will not miss out. Coaches will only need access to the YLM system and not worry about updating their own email groups.

Each organization, its leagues and its divisions have their own home page for information regarding latest news, board member contact information, frequently asked questions, documents, standings and schedules.  All of which can be updated instantly with easy to use forms.

Administration

The administration of an organization requires many people to spend a lot of time away from family and work to make it a success. In some cases, this workload alone can scare off people who might want to get involved. YLM recognizes that youth organizations are not possible without these volunteers so ease of use was a critical piece to making the registration and communication successful.

Although it may seem overwhelming to manage an online youth organization, YLM makes it easy with basic forms. Typing, clicking through lists and clicking SAVE is all that is required. In addition to the ease of use, the number of administrators is unlimited. The administration tasks can be as wide or as narrow as the organization requires. Coaches can be allowed access to email and practice schedules for their team and their team only. An individual might only be responsible for setting the schedule for a particular division.
